Apple & Tasty Cheese Tart

¼ Cup Cream Cheese (enough to cover the base)
1 Sheet Puff Pastry
Preheat oven to 180C and then line baking tray with baking paper.
Halve, core and thinly slice the apples. Place them on their side on a chopping board or plate.
Squeeze the juice from the lemon over the labels to stop them from browning.
Roll out puff pastry and cut to the size of your baking tray.
Score a 1cm border edge around the pastry and using a fork prick the rest of the pastry around 10 times to create breathing holes.
Spread cream cheese over pastry base. NB: Do not spread over border edge.
Neatly place the apple slices on top of the cream cheese in an orderly fashion.
Place the Dairyworks Tasty Cheese Slices in a neat order.. You may need to cut the slices in half to fill in any gaps.
Lightly egg wash the border of the tart before placing in the oven.
Place in the oven for approx. 20 mins or until golden brown, pastry is cooked and cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh thyme.
