Pancetta and Parmesan Pasta

  • 200 grams dried spaghetti

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 100 grams pancetta, diced

  • 1 cup peas, thawed in water, drained and reserved

  • 1/2 cup Dairyworks parmesan, grated


  1. Cook spaghetti according to packet instructions to al dente.

  2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat a little oil in a large frying pan, add diced onion and fry for 2 minutes. Add pancetta and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Stir through thawed peas, add cooked spaghetti and combine using tongs. Slowly add grated parmesan, tossing until well combined.

  4. Season with fresh black pepper to taste (salt is not required). Serve immediately.
